China Hat and Lone Wolf ISDE events will not be a part of the 2020 OMRA XC Race Series
After much deliberation, the Lobos MC and the OMRA have decided to forego including the China Hat ISDE and the Lone Wolf ISDE in the 2020 OMRA XC Race Series. This decision was not an easy one for the club or the OMRA, especially given the long history of Lobos members serving longstanding and critical roles within the OMRA. We hope to work together this season to establish rules and processes that would enable a return of hopefully one or both of these events to the 2021 series. Lobos members will remain on the OMRA board and on the Competition Committee.
“We respect the Lobos long history of putting on high quality racing events while also contributing so much to the OMRA. We hope that together we can create positive solutions that will bring these events back in 2021” - Justin Lewis, OMRA
“Lobos are racers, recreational riders and die hard enthusiasts of the sport. For years our events have been part of the OMRA series and we, as a club, value the importance of an organization designed to create a cohesive race presence, support positive off-road legislation and encourage community. Unfortunately, for 2020 our events will not be part of the series. However, we look forward to the future and creating positive solutions for all events sanctioned by the OMRA. We continue to be committed as a club, racers, officers and members of the OMRA, and look forward to its bright future.” - Reid Brown, Lobos MC
We will update the 2020 poster and launch it with the introduction of our new membership system. The OMRA is striving to deliver a better membership experience to our racers through innovations in membership and scoring this season.
Hope to see everyone at the banquet.
